The 2018 Festival

The fourth Ilumina Festival will take place January 2-14, bringing great chamber music to the interior of the state of São Paulo, as well as the capital, with a full weekend of concerts and events at MASP January 12-14, all free of charge to the public. The complete program will be announced November 1. Join us in São Paulo!

2018 Artists Announced

An extraordinary group of international artists will perform and interact at Ilumina 2018, including leading concert soloists,  chamber musicians and professors of prestigious conservatories.  For the first time, Ilumina will include voice and clarinet, with the great British bass Matthew Rose and star Swiss clarinettist Reto Bieri joining us.

Applications are Open!

Applications are now open to be a young artist at Ilumina 2018.  For the first time the festival is open to young artists 18-26 from all South American nations.  We're looking for the 20 brightest new voices in classical music, who will be passionate advocates for their art and for the world
